Anyway this is a really cheapo etching test thing I did because I wanted to try out etching. :B

I drew the picture on one of those 3x5 note cards, painted over it with acrylic medium, traced the drawing into the medium with an exacto knife, smushed the ink into the cracks, and pressed it onto a damp page in my sketchbook.

I think it would have been better if I had used the right kind of ink (I used block printing ink because it was $3 instead of a huge $30 bottle of etching ink, and it was really sticky XD;; ) and if I had painted the medium on thicker. Maybe I'll use plastic next time instead~

Anyway, from left to right, you're looking at: the drawing, the etched drawing with ink in the cracks, the first print attempt (didn't wipe it well enough) and the second print attempt. (seem to have wiped it too well, LOL)
