Waaaah. Maybe I'm just really slow, (edit: okay, so I guess not. XD; Where does the time go then?;;; ) but 3 hours isn't long enough for stuff like this, not for me. XD;; Guess it's long enough to do what's necessary for the class though. (I'm not even really in the class.;;; )

My favorite part is the legs of the orange-draped stool, LOL.;;

Mrew! Scans and photos always fuck the shadows, that's why I barely scan stuff. If you find a way to make it look not-that-bad please tell meeeee!

3 hours is a very short time for a life painting, some people I know couldn't even get a lay in in that time!

Just curious, do you start with a white canvas or use a toned one?

It's actually quite good for 3 hours! We're bringing in models after this week long break, i'm excited. I really like that you didn't cut off any of the body like a lot of people are inclined to do, it's actually hard to get the whole body in sometimes! The face is well expressed and the background is engaging, it's good that you put it in along with what he's sitting on, sweet painting!!

The painting classes at PNCA are 11-5 (with hour campus wide lunch in the middle) studio classes. When I see the paintings they do in that time, I am amazed at the speed in which they are completed.

Love the colors and how you applied them. The greens and reds in the skin are devine. It is so textural, I want to feel it. I think I am most enamored with the way his thigh lays and the extension of his arm.
