So there's this Sailor Moon redesign contest, right? [link] (well there WAS.. I might be late, LOL) and it sounded really fun, even though I sort of suck at fashion design. :B

Anyway, I was sort of trying for steampunk Sailor Mercury, because steampunk makes everything better. (And Mercury is my favorite.) only she started looking a bit cowgirlish, mostly because she didn't have enough gadgets for me to steampunkinate, and also because of all those bronze stars.;;;

But anyway, she's got a headset in the anime that displays enemy stats and stuff, so I gave her a little scope thing that flips down from her tiara and presumably does the same thing, only... steam powered. (SHUT UP, I DON'T KNOW, IT'S SAILOR MOON)

And she has a watch, too, (no srsly, I remember a watch, but some of this stuff just seems to disappear after a couple episodes..) so I turned it into a pocket watch. (hey judges, pockets are good to have at cons! )

I doodled some crazier looking versions of this, but some of them didn't look good from all angles or her crotch was showing or something, so this is the final one. It's unique in that IT'S A LONG SKIRT, HOLY CRAP. (made out of something really whooshy so it swirls around impressively and regularly shows bits of knee and above.) I think it's sort of cute, even if it's sort of plain.. ._. (maybe plain is good sometimes..)

And judges, this kind of jacket is slimming! ;D (Well, slimminger than the usual SM uniforms..)
